Visual and Media Computing (VMC)
Visual and Media Computing is a special interest group in the Faculty of Information Technology, Queensland University of Technology, Australia.
This research group has two (2) main objectives:
1. To consolidate the expertise and stimulate activities in areas related to multimedia, computer graphics, image analysis and computer vision; 2. To develop collaboration with industry and with other faculties in application areas as well as collaboration with other research groups within FIT to develop new technology for dealing with data of multimedia format.
Within the VMC there are three research themes:
